Mister Gay World Philippines 2016 was proclaimed the winner of Mister Gay World 2017 title that was held from May 5th-10th in Madrid and Maspalomas (Gran Canaria Island) Spain.
John Fernandez Raspado, 36, who hails from Baguio City and works as an Online Marketer have won over 40 other contestants all over the world.
27-year-old Spanish Cándido Arteaga, a native of La Gomera and a resident of Tenerife was in second place while Raf Van Puymbroek of Belgium, 22, placed third.
In 2014, John joined It's Showtime's "I am Pogay" segment. He became the grand winner of the contest.
