English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran announces his Asian Tour that is going to happen from October to November this year. And yes, Manila is one of his pit stops :).
Sheeran will be flying to Manila on November 7, according to concert producer AEG Presents but they haven't confirmed yet the venue and ticket prices as of this moment but promised to announce more details come June 8.
Sheeran is famous for his hits Lego House (2011) Thinking Out Loud (2014), Photograph (2014) and his newest, Shape of You (2017).
Fans will be delighted to not only hear all of the British artist’s best-known hits on this Asian leg but also the most popular tracks from his new album Divide.
Aside from Manila, he will also be performing in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Mumbai and, Dubai.
Grammy Award-winning global superstar is currently in Latin America for his Divide Tour.
The tour is all about Sheeran’s successful third studio album, “÷.” The album – pronounced “divide” includes his universal hit singles, “Shape of You” and “Castle On The Hill,” both of which made incredible chart placements after their release early this year. “Shape of You” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” Sheeran’s first time atop the overall chart and has remained there for six weeks total thus far.
Sheeran's last show in the Philippines was in March 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
