Langit at Lupa stars Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida have called it quits, Star Magic confirmed in a statement.
The Pinoy Big Brother 737 love birds has mutually decided to end their more than 1 year relationship according to their management, but did not mention the reason for the breakup.
Star Magic's statement: "Both parties remain friends but have agreed to spend time apart. Miho and Tommy ask for your continuous support for their individual careers. Thank you," the statement read.
Nishida and Esguerra met during "Pinoy Big Brother: 737" in 2105 where Nishida was named as the season's Big Winner.
Because of Esguerra's admission that he is in love with Nishida, they generated a huge number of followers, naming their pairing as "ToMiho."
They officially became a couple in December 2015, after Tommy publicly asked Miho on It's Showtime's segment ToMiho A Love Realiserye if she could be his girlfriend.
Esguerra even introduced Nishida to his family in California in January last year.
Fans speculated that something is wrong between the couple when Tommy erased his photos with Miho on his Instagram account Wednesday, April 26.
This announcement hurt many of their fans, who expressed their feelings and disappointments about the couple's breakup on Twitter.
