Miniso is a Japanese lifestyle and fast growing fashion brand which became a big hit in Glorietta Makati after they opened last month.
Many questioned why Miniso, despite claiming to be a Japanese brand, had only four stores in Tokyo compared with more than a thousand in China.
The brand also attracted more customers because its name sounds like the popular $2 chain Daiso and its logo resembles that of Uniqlo.
And now, Miniso has started dominating the Philippines. Indeed, this brand is into globalizing its name. The store has a very wide range of selection of merchandise that will magnetize your attention such as wireless headsets, make up kits, ceramic mugs and coffee sets, baking items, tumblers, and bags. Items look better and chic than the other existing stores like Daiso but not expensive than Muji. Prices start at 99 PHP for an eyeliner and go up to 1499 PHP for a Bluetooth headphone set. Some items, such as the mini desktop humidifier 249 PHP and neck massager 190 PHP have sold out.

On their plans to open 100 Miniso stores here in three years, both downtown and in heartland locations, Miniso currently has 15 stores now here in the Philippines; Robinsons Place Manila, SM City San Lazaro, SM City Manila, SM City East Ortigas, SM City Fairview, SM City Sucat, SM Southmall, Gateway Tower Mall, Lucky Chinatown, SM City Baliwag, SM Center Sangandaan, SM City Marilao, SM City San Jose del Monte, SM City Trese Martires and Glorietta 2. This April, they are about to open 3 more branches; SM City North EDSA - Annex, SM Makati and SM Cubao and will for sure be another hit.
With all these reasons, I am pretty sure that Miniso is worth your visit. Don't miss to check it out at Glorietta 2, Makati City.
Very disappointed at Miniso. Not much of choices!!Mumuso Korean is so much better. Do not know if Miniso is de same as Japan home. Use different name!!
