Denver was declared the overall winner of Mister Universe Philippines Model 2017 at the finals night held at the Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF) Gymnasium, Balibago Angeles City Pampanga.
This 22-year-old from Italia will represent the country at the Men Universe Model 2017 pageant to be held later this year in Dominican Republic.
Aside from the title, Hernandez also won Best in Swimwear, Best in Video Presentation and Best in Formal Wear.
Mister Universe 2017 Finals will be on June 16, 2017 at IFA Bavaro Resort & Spa, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Aside from Hernandez, there were already 24 others confirmed pageant contenders for the title; Mauricio Suarez Paz - Argentina, Benoit Sow - Belgium, Jose Roberto Velasco - Bolivia, Vitor Seorra Andolfatto - Brazil, Alexis Vasquez - Chile, Kevin Mora - Costa Rica, Timmy Huiskens - Curacao, Miroslav Dubovicky - Czech Republic, Jorge Mejia Erazo - Ecuador, Ayoub Taoumi - France, Sean Vincent - Gibraltar, Jaly Stuve Joseph - Haiti, Douglas Castro - Margarita Island, Sunny Mehrotra - Mauritius, Zamir Sierra - Mexico, Julio Cesar Mendoza - Nicaragua, Idelfonso Castillo - Panama, Enzo Camacho - Paraguay, Adriano Lopez Vazquez - Portugal, Kevin Montes - Puerto Rico, Manual Valero - Spain, Franco Reyes - Uruguay, and Jesus Zambrano - Venezuela.
And in line with this, the online voting for Mister Popularity has also begun for the same competition. There are already 23 confirmed delegates who will vie for the title and Denver hopes to get much support from the Filipino Community from all around the world.
This year's winner will succeed Mister Universe Model 2016 Marlon Polo Lm of Panama.
