Ai Ai delas Alas' failed relationships have always been known to the public so when she found Gerald Sibayan 3 years ago, she finally regained a happy love life.
Inspite of her happines, netizens still made comments about her current relationship since Gerald was just 20 years old when they've met.
Few months ago, rumors about them getting engaged did not come to reality as Ai Ai intentionally postponed it. "Parang gusto ko munang maging single (I want to enjoy my single life first),” she told. “Kasi, di ba, two or three years ago ang divorce ko, pero ‘yung parang recognition dito sa Philippines, kakalabas lang last year (I have divorced two or three years ago but the recognition here in the Philippines was released last year).”
They have put their focus on Sibayan's education which paid off as he graduated in De La Salle University with a degree in Sports Education.
3 years have past and 6 days ago, the couple has finally decided to take it to the next level which was evident on the comedienne's Instagram post with writings on a coffee glass saying, “Can you be my misis?” and a heart-shaped paper that has the question, “Will you marry me?”, end of qoute.
“Some knots are meant to be tied forever. Our journey is not perfect but it’s ours and ill stick with you [until] the end. I will pray to our great God that our journey will be smooth and sweet towards eternity,” she captioned her post. The couple’s engagement also marked the third anniversary of their love relationship. Indeed true love waits if we are only patient. Congratulations Ai Ai and Gerald.
