The veteran singer and songwriter publicly revealed being connected to the Kapamilya network again when he guested on the It's Showtime stage with Rey Valera and Louie Ocampo.
Alcasid promoted his upcoming concert, Songwriter's Series," with Valera and Ocampo at the KIA Theater on December 2.
He started his career in ABS-CBN and then transferred to GMA where he starred in gag show “Bubble Gang” and the network’s Sunday noontime musical-variety shows. In 2013, he surprised the people by leaving “Bubble Gang” and signing a contract with TV5.
August of this year, Ogie said he is open to joining ABSCBN again when he appeared in ABS-CBN's late night showbiz news, Tonight with Boy Abunda.
“Anything is possible… Pero ang feeling sa three years ko with TV 5 weren’t able to accomplish what we were supposed to accomplish. So kung iiwan ko lang yun na ganoon, there’s a big part of me na sige baka kaya pa naman,” said Alcasid.
His transfer opened a lot of opportunities. In fact, he is going to judge the next season of "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Edition" along with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and the Mega Star Sharon Cuneta.
Now that Jaya ang Ogie are in the Kapamilya network, does this mean Regine Velasquez and Janno will follow? It'll be a grand reunion for the 4 of them when this happens.
