Jamyla Domingo Lambunao, a third year high school student at St. Scholastica's Academy-Marikina bagged two gold medals in the recently concluded U.S. Open Memory Championship in Los Angeles, California.
It only takes just one minute for 13-year-old whiz Pinay Jamyla Domingo Lambunao to memorize and recite 50 words that were just read to her while blindfolded. She can also memorize 300 words in 15 minutes plus, she can recite all the words she memorized in reverse order.
Aside from words, Lambunao also can memorize numbers, images and cards.
Joining International competition is quite a sacrifice, "I travel. The school permits me to be excused for one month to train for the world memory championship, and of course I have to sacrifice a lot of things, like not being an honor student," Jamyla said in an interview with ANC.
