ABS-CBN is all set to start the Pangako Sa'Yo remake this Monday, May 24 with Teen Royalties Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Included in the highly-anticipated Pangako Sa’yo remake are Ian Veneracion, Jodi Sta. Maria, Angelica Panganiban, Amy Austria-Ventura, Ronnie Lazaro, Bernard Palanca, Jan Marini and child star Andrea Brilliantes.
The original Pangako Sa’yo which stars Phenomenal love team Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa ran for two years since it aired in 2000 has gained high popularity in more than 20 countries, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. In China, it rated second in overall local and foreign programs, Cambodian Television Network (CTN) even bought its format from ABS-CBN in 2012 and created a localized version of Pangako Sa’yo.
Produced by Star Creatives, the Pangako Sa’yo remake will be helmed by its original director Rory Quintos.
